Embodiment Coaching for Healers, Yogis and Therapists.
When you, or a student or client of yours, are continually stressed your body finds ways to soften the blow. You constrict both your body and emotions to protect yourself from the worst the pain. This is temporarily helpful but overtime habits of pain, restriction and disorganization become part of us.
If you constricted long or intensely enough you pulled your muscles and fascia into a pattern that kept on tightening into pain, numbness or restriction. The same constriction also put the grooves in your nervous system that keep you experiencing fight, flight, freeze and exhaustion patterns.
These patterns affect how safe we feel in our bodies, how much we feel we can trust them and also how easily they cooperate with our desired activities.
There are often unseen energetic issues that can be corrected before imbalance and unconsciousness take away from our wellbeing. Healthy cellular movements are part of our developmental movement patterns. Cells need to breathe, to filter, and to process materials they receive from our inter cellular fluid. Waste products must also be removed. Cell movements have particular expressions of consciousness.
We do have the ability to to remove these habits and constrictions from our bodies but we often need a trusted guide who can help us. Using a gentle, non-intrusive, and respectful approach, I offer one on one teaching and coaching to help you.
Our work together creates and elastic and varied container that builds resilience and cultivates the ability to change tone, enhance self regulation and gain insight as needed so we can bear the difficulty of facing and transcending stress, strain and trauma.
Lasting and beneficial change is achievable—but it is a process. According to the UK Behavior Research Center, changing a behavior generally takes at least 66 days of consecutive action. Regaining strength, function, and bodily integrity takes time, attention, and ongoing support.
Conscious Embodiment offers:
- Resilience allowing you to face change, trauma and stress with more calm and perspective.
- Change that arises from within rather than be orchestrated from outside in.
- Expanded options and choices for movement and behaviors helping get anyone out of ruts and grooves.
