Embodied Meditation Classes

Monthly on the 3rd Tuesday at 7 pm EST

Embodied Meditation honors the reality that spirituality is a human experience and therefore part of our flesh and blood self.

Our physical pains and pleasures, our emotions, and even our thinking are permeated by a palpable stillness found through our body.

The Fundamental Consciousness

With practice, we gain a deep inward contact that offers us an experience of what my teacher Judith Blackstone calls Fundamental Consciousness but can also be called spirit, love, oneness, emptiness, fullness, or other names. Many people experience this as a profound stillness that pervades everything.

This consciousness liberates our natural self-certainty, our wholeness, and self-knowledge, while allowing for increased transparency and unity with others and our world.

The shared practices are helpful for:

  • Feeling more alive while also experiencing non-dual reality.
  • Experience calm and clarity.
  • Let go of defensiveness.
  • Access creativity and problem solving.
  • Find a calm in the midst of stormy circumstances.
  • Individuals who have experienced trauma, as they can help to re-establish a sense of safety and grounding in the body.
  • Relating to others from our subtle core.

So, if you are grappling with:

  • Yourwell-being threatened by illness or stress.
  • Feeling pain and outrage for other humans in scary and unfair situations.
  • Feeling unsettled, anxious and angry.
  • Desire stillness and calm.
  • Creating positive connections with others without losing your ground and center.
